Time for a change of hairstyle as things start to return to normal
It seems like ages since the first lockdown, and as things start to return to normal, clients are returning in droves. I get the impression people are ready for change, we’ve all endured so much.
There are a few points to bear in mind when making any kind of radical change.
- Are you ready for change
- Are you acting out of desire or boredom
- What is your goal
I have been cutting hair for longer than I care to remember ans seen many people change their style. The most successful changes are simple strong looks. Classic cuts done well can look stunning, accentuate that with colour and you can look like a totally different person.
The most important thing to take into accountwhen changing your style, is to present your ideas then listen to advice from your stylist. Make sure you both determine the desired length beforehand this saves tears later on. A stylist cannot spend too much time on the consultation it's so important.
Bobs are always great on most hair types and when they are cut precisely they look fabulous. If you prefer more length then try to have some layers put through as it will stop the hair looking as if it swamping you. This look will also frame the face and make the best of your profile.
